WoooOOOOoooo... It's that time of year again!
Honey is having a ghostly halloween 'tea' party this year and you're all invited. Customise a cup of tea - or in this case, a cauldron of goo - and join in the party. Invite people to your goo party to spread the fun! If you've not got time to go to the party - or maybe you have time for both - why not pixel a traditional trick or treat patch and send that in instead?

You should have all received an e-mail about the new site, but in case you didn't make sure you go check it out! Profiles, bee*mail, new integrated control systems for staff bees, etc etc - it's all there, and all waiting to be used.
Note: we will be having a custom bbs system at the new site courtesy of Bubs but it'll take time so the bbs is down at the moment. Please use bee*mail & email if you need to get in touch with anyone. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Now that bees have nominated their favourite patches, quilts, etc it's time to narrow down the votes - everyone should make their way to the Golden Honeybear Awards, Part 2 page and place their final votes so we can work out some winners!

Hip-hip-hooray! The Golden Honeybear awards have made a wondrous return to celebrate and recognise the many fine talents that we have in our club. For the next 15 days it's up to you to go a trawlin' through members' sites to find the bees that you think deserve a special award.
The nomination categories are as follows:
Best Patch
Best Quilt
Best Website
Best Free*bee Contributor
Best Bee*Bee*S Bee
If you make your way to the main site you'll see a shiny new activity page with the voting form all lined up for you - please get those votes in by July 15th so we can add 'em up and post the finalist for a second round of votin'.

The responsibility for the Daily Bee is changing hands to the very capable Joni, who I will be talking with over the next week or so to make plans for its future so that we can start getting it up and running/etc.
In the mean time, if you volunteered to help out before, or wish to volunteer to help now, please leave your details (bee # & url) in the BBS thread along with what it is you'd be interested in doing. Feel free to also ask questions, make suggestions, etc.

We all love the q*bee layout, but it's been up for a year now and it's time for something fresh! Of course, layouts don't just make themselves, so this is where you come in. You have one and a half months to come up with a new q*bee layout for our website. If you think you're up to the challenge, take a look at the guidelines and faq and then get pixeling!
